Mom and dad had a great time enjoying all the Nascar activities and shops while they were out here. They have been huge Nascar fans for years and finally got to go to a Nascar race when they were here. We bought them tickets to the 50th running of the Coca Cola 600 at Lowes Motor Speedway. We also surprised them by getting tickets to the Nationwide series as well. It was a first for them to see both. Although we had to deal with rain the whole weekend and it took three days to get the two races in we had a blast! They also got to tour over a dozen race shops while they were here. They got to see many of the drivers cars and shops as well as get autographs and memorabilia. They also got to take a tour of darlington on our way to Myrtle Beach.Mom got to tour the Shop of Darryl Waltrip Racing (her all time fovorite) and walked out with his autograph. Dad also got to see his favorite Carl Edwards. By the time they left we had over 400 Nascar related pictures.
