Nascar Race

Last weekend we went to the Banking 500 at Lowes Motor Speedway. Although the weather was a little cool we had a lot of fun. We arrived at the speedway for tailgating about noon for the 7:30 PM race. You have to arrive at least 4-5 hours before the race or you get stuck in very heavy traffic and have to park 3-4 miles away. We took the BBQ and all kinds of refreshments and snacks. They have lots to do before the race. We all had a really great time together. We have been to every major race at Lowes since we have moved here and it is a blast every time. We all picked up memorabilia for the race. A good time was had by all. We can't wait until Bailey is old enough to go. Pappa is already training her. She spends alot of her time in Pappa's nascar room watching movies and she knows Dale JR very well. We can show her a car or something and ask her who it is and she loudly says Dale JR! It is soooo cute.
